This is the first volume of a trilogy depicting the vanishing wildernesses of India and its denizens. The books will be a comprehensive chronicle of fauna including avifauna in an interactive landscape. The books contain images of very rare animals like the clouded leopard, snow leopard, the pigmy hog and amongst birds the satyr tragopan, the monal pheasant and many more.
 
This first volume includes rare images of the melanistic leopard, clouded leopard and the fishing cat. This is the first volume of the trilogy and two more volumes will follow shortly.
